This Data Centre is one of Johannesburg’s most established carrier-neutral facilities and has a long record of providing a quality service to customers. It is located in an office park operated by the DC Operator. It is designed to Uptime Institute Tier III standards, there are 11 Data Halls that at full capacity holds over 900 racks and is currently at >80% capacity, is a major POP for long distance network operators and is 40 minutes for OR Tambo International Airport.

Facility description

Designed to Uptime Institute Tier III requirements this facility has a 2N Electrical system, N+1 mechanical system, gas suppression, VESDA and DCIM. CCTV and biometric access are part of the security system that is manned 24/7 by onsite security staff. The site is monitored via a central NOC, a DC operations team on site and remote login for customers can be provided to monitor key parameters of the facility and their racks. Power monitoring is available at a rack level. Customer office and amenity space is available.
